Under normal circumstances, melatonin secretion typically peaks between 1 and 3 a.m., but only IF you’re sleeping in total darkness. One capsule of our Magnesium and Melatonin provides 20 milligrams of elemental magnesium glycinate and 3 milligrams of melatonin.

Adults may take 1 to 3 capsules one hour before bedtime to help them fall asleep.

If they have trouble staying asleep, they can take 1 to 3 capsules right before they turn out the bedroom lights. This way, the effects will last longer through the night.

If a person has problems falling asleep AND staying asleep, they can take 1 capsule about one hour before bedtime, then 2 more as they turn out the lights.
